Besides
the Catholic church , which used quite elaborate principles
in its counter reformation campaign, Joseph Goebbels,
the Nazi Minister of Propaganda, was the first to form
principles of contemporary propaganda. The principles,
used at first only for the purposes of war and politics,
are now involved in total mass communication. In this
present moment one cannot tell the difference between
means of propaganda, advertising, entertainment, or
education. |

& WASTE is a sort of a web page that deals with
the problem of cloning in variety of ways. It treats
the cloning as: copy & paste ideology, repeating,
absurd of originality, multiplying and re-using It is
rather inconsistent group of experiments that just treat
mentioned phenomena in a visual way. It is a tank of
ideas that can be used and re-used. It is always changing
work in progress. |

Jpeg_dicks
are desktop pictures made of porn pics randomly taken
from the Internet. The Worldwide Web owes its existence
and broad expansion to pornographic content that is
very effectively distributed and consumed. Its democratic
and non-hierarchical structure allows the distribution
of content to a wide variety of sexual groups. Images
of penises are mainly consumed by the male homosexual
population and, as all pornography, bear a high degree
of purity of genre. |

KONTROLA
is a web social experiment that deals with a hoax virus.
The basic idea is to launch a fake virus that affects
the computer and human kind. The virus is constructed
out of language. |

is a form of a chat performance. It was presented at
the first international exhibition CONVERSATION, after
Milosevic's era. The work is a sort of a compromise
with the spatial gallery practice because curators asked
the author to make "much more substantial work
than plain web art consumed over the Net". Performace
included two participants sitting next to each other
and chating over the Internet. The complete chat was
projected onto them and the wall behind. The point was
absurdity of privacy on the net and net based identity. Performance partner: Andrej Dolinka. |

This work was presented at the VIDEOMEDEJA
video festival in Novi Sad , Yugoslavia under the
female alias Aleksandra Zivanovic (later Aleksandra
Macasev). VIDEOMEDEJA is basicaly female oriented
festival that promotes "female art discourse".
The author constructs new (female) identity and simulates
the "female art discourse" without anyone
knowing about the hoax. Organizers accepted the entry
and it was exhibited in CD category. Gender identity
as a complete social construct that can be manipulated
at will.

TV commercial [GAVRILOVIC] - it is a spoof comercial
that deals with homophobia. In a voice-over, you can
hear a speech by the priest, Zarko Gavrilovic (translation
of the speech: "the god gave them those organs
which they want to misuse... so STAND UP AGAINST that
hell and satanic evil !!!") and you can see the
scenes of violence and indifference from the pride parade.
In the end you see the transformed logo of a Croatian
meat processing plant, Gavrilovic and their slogan "it's
excellent... it's Gavrilovic". Instead of a salami,
the girl holds a cut-off penis. ... |

This
work deals with the relativity of gender. My portrait
transforms in two minutes in my female portrait and
vice versa. It repeats ad infinitum. It uses some elements
of web iconography (real time clock, loading bar,e tc.).
It' s a study of a human face and tiny differences in
gender distinction. It was shown as an ambiental work
in Belgrade gallery of the Student Cultural Center in
December 2001. |

human body as an object of desire. The work points out
an essential impossibility of sexual pleasure from consuming
pornographic content of the Worldwide Web. All the pleasure
is strictly retinal and its limit is the surface of

of a commercial web page! It is a web page which deals
with phenomenon of advertising. It is a simulation of
a common commercial web page, but articulated in a rather
"cold" visual code. You can find all the usual
elements: head, scrolling message, button links that
lead to products and the banner of a sponsor. But in
this case, the web page advertises ads. AdZ treats four
basic categories of the advertising today: time, perception,
entropy and gaze. ... |
